The Legacy Team

I started in this industry because I wanted to be useful to people during one of the most significant decisions of their lives. What I didn't expect was how much that work would shape me. How much I'd learn about what people actually want when they say they're looking for a home. It's rarely about square footage.

The Legacy Team is where I do that work.

Real estate wasn't something I fell into. It was something I grew into.

My real estate background also shapes the way I see everything else. When I'm walking through a home on this site, talking about salvaged wood floors or a kitchen that finally got its renovation, I'm seeing it the way a buyer would. I notice what holds value. I notice what tells a story. Living on the Intracoastal, in a restored bed-and-breakfast that my husband and I have poured ourselves into, has made me a better agent because I understand what it means to build something that matters. A home isn't an asset to me. It's the backdrop of your life.

What I've learned after years in this market is that the transaction is almost never the hard part. The hard part is the in-between. The waiting, the wondering, the moments where people need someone to just tell them the truth. That's the part I take seriously.

If you're thinking about buying or selling on the North Carolina coast, I'd love to talk. No pressure, no script. Just an honest conversation about what you're looking for and whether I can help you find it.
